I had an amazing stay at a wonderful homestay in Mararikulam. The hosts, Babu and his family, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Babu, being a local tuk-tuk driver, was very helpful in arranging various trips for me. I even had the option to rent bikes and explore the surrounding areas. The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious traditional dishes prepared by Babu's wife, Rani. The homestay was clean and comfortable, and just a short walk away from the beautiful Marari beach. I highly recommend this homestay for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Great location - only a 1-minute walk from a beautiful and peaceful beach. Babu is happy to take guests to Alleppey in his tuk tuk. Delicious and plentiful meals - especially the traditional Kerala breakfast and dinner

We had an amazing romantic escape at this place! the food was to die for, with the best curried veg and fresh fish dinners. the rooms were clean and comfy, with cozy beds and convenient shelves in the bathroom. the location was perfect, just a short walk to a quiet and long beach. We also enjoyed the hot water showers and the great Wi-Fi connection.
The location. the path to the beach was a bit dark and narrow, which made us a bit uneasy at night.

Activities such as diving, fishing, and cycling were available in the area around the homestay, providing endless entertainment options. The garden at the homestay was a hidden paradise, where I found peace and tranquility amidst the blooming flowers and lush greenery. The helpful receptionist shared valuable tips about the local area, ensuring I made the most of my stay. The accommodation itself was cozy and comfortable, with free WiFi, air conditioning, and even free bikes to explore the surroundings. One morning, I indulged in a delectable vegetarian breakfast that satisfied my taste buds and left me energized for the day ahead. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a babysitting service was also available, a thoughtful touch for families traveling with young ones. Lastly, the homestay's close proximity to Cochin International Airport made my journey hassle-free, allowing me to spend more time enjoying my vacation.

The decoration at Marari Babu Homestay is tastefully done, with beautiful traditional touches that add a sense of charm and warmth. The general areas are well-maintained and provide a welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent, with smooth pathways and no stairs to climb, making it easy for me to navigate around the premises.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive and proactive in assisting elderly guests. While they were friendly, there were moments where I felt they could have been more observant to the needs of older individuals like myself.

The overall decoration of the homestay was lovely, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like me. I especially enjoyed sitting in the garden, surrounded by beautiful flowers and lush greenery, which created a peaceful and serene environment.
It would have been even better if there were more staff available to assist senior guests with their needs. The children working there were very helpful, but having additional assistance would have made the vacation more convenient and enjoyable for senior people like me.

Great value for money with clean and spacious rooms, beautiful garden with outdoor shower, and friendly and helpful staff. The location is just a short walk from a beautiful and clean beach.
The breakfast experience could be improved by focusing more on local food and eliminating processed bread and plastic pots of jam.
